Property and Finances

If there is a risk that you might be detained, you should make a plan to take care of your home, vehicle, bank accounts and any other property you might own. A Power of Attorney is a legal document that might be helpful to you. To learn more, contact me or schedule an appointment.

There are many resources for you and your family if: you or someone you know is detained; if you need financial support; if you need help with errands or food delivery; and much more. COPAL is coordinating with legal partners across Minnesota and in neighboring states. They can help locate people who have been detained, help find legal support, help with financial support, and more. Monarca may also have additional resources.
